Dear Veteran

Authors note- This paragraph is about how thankful I am for the freedom that we have in our country and the sacrifices that our soldiers did to keep our country free

Dear Veteran,
The freedom, the bravery, and the hope. Thank you for all the wonderful things you have done to keep our country free and protected. I can’t say how much I appreciate all the wars you have gone to and the sacrifices you have made to make this country the safest it could be.  I am so thankful for all the sacrifices in your life to keep our country’s freedom.

Patriots Pen

During World War One about 15 million deaths and about 20 million wounded, World War Two about 60 million people were killed. That is 2.5% of the world population that were killed and wounded. Think about it, having a relative in either one of the war and getting killed, and you just found out yesterday after it happened. Then you have 9/11, that was another situation that 2,996 were killed.  When I heard everybody talking about it in school I was so confused because I didn’t know what was going on, everybody was like did you hear that the twin tower crashed. From that day forward I have always remember 9/11, World War One, and World War Two.
